The 85 Series is a versatile luminaire suitable for a variety of recessed applications. Housing consists of a heavy gauge aluminum cold rolled steel frame that comes available in a shallow or deep size. A .032 Textured Aluminum reflector reduces arc tube voltage rise and is finished in a white oven baked polyester powder coat. A standard .156" thick prismatic polycarbonate lens is secured by heavy gauge cold rolled steel retaining angles attached to door studs for positive lens clamping. Black neoprene around the inside perimeter of the door frame seals out dust and moisture and prevents light leaks. A wide selection of lamp sources is available to choose from which includes new energy efficient lighting technologies such as ceramic metal halide and LED. U.L. Listed.
